1. Company profile

Shandong Huayang Deere Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the biological high-tech industrial base of Ciyao Town Development Zone, Ningyang County. Its legal representative is Yu Wanzhen. The main product scale is an annual output of 135,000 tons of nitric acid. The main raw material liquid ammonia is all outsourced. As the raw material of Huahong Chemical and other enterprises, we are located in the middle of the industrial chain of the chemical park. The Environmental Protection Research Institute of Tai'an City, Shandong Province issued the company's "Environmental Impact Report" (approved version) in November 2003; on December 3, 2003, the environmental assessment passed the acceptance of the Tai'an Environmental Protection Bureau and gave the approval (Taihuan Issue [2003] No. 144) On August 20, 2012, it passed (ISO9001-2008 quality management system; ISO14001-2004 environmental management system; OHSAS18000-2011 occupational health management system) three-system certification.

2. Process introduction

Dilute nitric acid plant adopts double pressurization method to produce dilute nitric acid. After the liquid ammonia from ammonia tank enters the plant, it is heated and evaporated in two evaporators with hot cooling water from the absorption system. A process water cooler is inserted between the two evaporators to further evaporate the liquid ammonia. The evaporated ammonia is further heated in the preheater and heater, and then filtered through one of the two ammonia filters installed in parallel. The air is compressed to 5.2atm by an air compressor after passing through the air inlet filter. After the compressed air passes through the exhaust gas preheater, it is divided into primary air and secondary air or bleaching air. The primary air and ammonia are mixed, and the mixed gas enters the waste heat boiler at a certain temperature, then the gas passes through the exhaust gas heater, and the cooled nitrogen oxide enters the condenser through a boiler feed water preheater. The acid formed by the water produced by the ammonia oxidation is transported to the corresponding tray of the absorption tower by the condensing acid pump. The nitrogen-containing gas leaving the condenser is pressurized to 11.88 atm by the nitrogen oxide compressor. Before entering the compressor, it first passes through a nitrogen oxide gas separator to remove entrained liquid droplets and add secondary air from the bleaching tower. The compressed nitrogen oxide gas concentration is only slightly lower than the concentration of the finished acid, so it is combined with the unbleached dilute acid from the bottom of the absorption tower. The process waste gas produced by the dilute nitric acid plant mainly comes from the waste gas of the absorption tower. The main pollutants are NOx. Because the company’s dual pressurization process is the world’s most advanced nitric acid process technology, the ammonia oxidation rate is as high as 96%, The absorption rate of nitrogen is as high as 99.8%, which greatly reduces the emission of nitrogen oxides. Therefore, the exhaust gas is directly discharged into the atmosphere through the 65-meter-high exhaust pipe.

3. Solid waste generation and disposal

Our company has no hazardous waste; domestic garbage is handed over to the environmental sanitation department of Ciyao Town for regular disposal.

A total of 30,300 tons of liquid ammonia were used in 2016, and 104,000 tons of nitric acid were produced.

4. Exhaust gas and wastewater treatment

The main source of exhaust gas produced by our company is nitrogen oxide gas. The fugitive emissions are mainly leaking and breathing gas from storage tanks (including loading and unloading trucks). The production waste gas implements the second-level standard in Table 2 of the "Comprehensive Emission Standard of Air Pollutants" (GB16297-1996).

The wastewater of our company is mainly circulating system wastewater and domestic sewage. The main pollutants are COD, ammonia nitrogen, etc., except for the wastewater from the circulation system, the part is collected and discharged through the plant pipe network into the neutralization tank before being discharged; the company has set up a circulating water system, and the sewage of the system is clean sewage. The pollution is relatively light, and it is directly discharged through the company's main sewage outlet. The quality of the effluent water can meet the requirements of the General Protection Area Discharge Standard of the Comprehensive Discharge Standard for Water Pollutants Along the South-to-North Water Diversion of Shandong Province (GB37/599-2006).

5. Environmental risk prevention and control

The drainage system is designed and constructed in accordance with the principle of "rain and sewage diversion, clean sewage diversion". The production equipment and tank farm are equipped with cofferdams. Ground flushing water and initial rainwater enter the accident pool through underground pipes, and then pump into the sewage station collection. The pool is treated together with the production wastewater, and the accident sewage flows into the 600 cubic accident pool through underground pipes for centralized treatment. The outlet of the cofferdam is equipped with a valve, which is usually closed to prevent accidental sewage from entering the external environment.

The company prepared the "Emergency Plan for Environmental Emergencies", which was filed with the County Environmental Protection Bureau in August 2015.

VI. Next work plan

Before December 2017, the company plans to carry out leak detection and repair work, and conduct environmental protection treatment of unorganized waste gas in tank farms and loading and unloading areas.
